No Bake Peanut Butter Pie Recipe (1)

Peanut butter and chocolate are two of my favorite flavors to combine. The Oreo crust with the peanut butter filling in this No Bake Peanut Butter Pie works so well together.

These flavors are meant to be together, we all know they are one of the dynamic duos! Now add that into no bake with minimal ingredients and you have yourself the perfect dessert.

We make this often, all year long. We bring it to so many functions because it’s easy to make ahead and just bring and go and everyone loves it.

I’m a huge fan of no bake recipes and pie has to be one of them, especially this Peanut Butter Pie. You really can’t go wrong with this treat for anything.

If you are looking for that recipe that you can bake for your family or bring anywhere then you have absolutely come to the right place.

Some of my favorite peanut butter chocolate recipes we have on our site include: Peanut Butter Brownies, Peanut Butter Lasagna and Chocolate Peanut Butter Overload Sandwich Cookies.

HOW TO MAKE A NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER PIE:

  1. Place the Oreos in a food processor and process until they are fine crumbs.
  2. Stream in the butter while pulsing.
  3. Press this into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Make sure to really pack in the crumbs, I like to use the bottom of a flat measuring cup to do this.
  4. Place the pie plate into the freezer for 30 minutes.
  5. Place the heavy cream in a large bowl and whip to stiff peaks, set aside.
  6. Place the cream cheese into a large bowl and whip with an electric hand mixer until smooth.
  7. Add the peanut butter and whip until smooth.
  8. Add the powdered sugar a little at a time with the vanilla until combined.
  9. Fold in the whipped cream until there are no streaks left.
  10. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the crust and smooth out the top.
  11. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 4 hours until set or overnight. Slice and serve with your favorite toppings.

CAN I USE A PREMADE OREO CRUST?

If you want to save yourself some time you can use a premade crust if you’d like. You could also use a chocolate graham cracker crust or even a regular graham cracker crust as well.

CAN I USE CHUNKY PEANUT BUTTER?

While we prefer the silky smoothness of this pie from the creamy peanut butter, if you want to add a little bit more texture to this Peanut Butter Pie you can use chunky.

This will not affect the amount of the pie at all, it will just give a little added crunch to the filling.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THIS TO SET UP?

This needs to sit and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to get the consistency that we are looking for but can sit overnight as well.

This is what makes this a great make-ahead recipe is that since it already has to sit to set up you can make this in advance for any gathering or get together that you are doing.

HOW TO STORE:

You can store this No Bake Peanut Butter Pie in the refrigerator covered where it will keep for up to 4 days.

This also freezes well. Cover with plastic wrap and then foil and place in the freezer and it will keep for up to 3 months.

You can eat this from frozen, or remove it to the refrigerator and let it defrost overnight.

TIPS AND TRICKS:

  • If you find it tricky to get the crust out of the pan, dip it in some warm water.
  • This can be frozen, see my tips above.
  • You can use crunchy peanut butter for some extra texture.
  • Use a premade crust if needed.
  • You can top this with all your favorites, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, Oreos, chopped peanuts, etc.
