Bremerton is a beautiful city and a scenic one-hour auto ferry or a 35-minute crossing via passenger-only Fast Ferry crossing from Seattle, making it Kitsap County’s biggest city and also the most popular with commuters. Bremerton's downtown Harborside area boasts the Kitsap Conference Center, two hotels, fine dining, coffee shops, cafes, outdoor sculptures, and water features. The Port of Bremerton Marina has 220 permanent slips and 100 slips for visiting boaters. You can enjoy a stroll through the Arts District, Puget Sound Navy Museum, or climb aboard the historic USS Turner Joy accessed via the waterfront boardwalk. Harborside Fountain Park features large water features that dramatically spout water out of the top, a popular place for youngsters in the summer heat.
